Cotton
Our garments are made from traditional Indonesian weavings, using hand-made cotton looms.
The cotton threads used by our artisans are made from a variety of natural and organic cotton.
The work of natural dyeing is mainly artisanal with a low environmental impact.
The cotton hand dyes offer multiple possibilities of colors with subtle and harmonious shades, embedding antimicrobial and hypoallergenic properties to the fibers with a very soft hand and comfortable finishing.
Embroideries
All our embroideries are made with Indonesian couched metal-threadworks. We can also call it a Surface Embroidery or Freestyle Stitchery.
The finished garment is given to an artisan with a theme, who will then create an original design based on their inspiration.
The design of the embroideries is a tribute to the Indonesian aesthetics, with inspiration taken from nature, culture and symbolic spiritual arts. From Palm Trees to Sunsets, from Chakras to Mandalas, and from Monkeys to Dragons.
One embroidered scene takes from one to two months to be completed by the local artisan.
